<p>The performance of horizontal wells penetrated anisotropic layers it affects a large number of factors. For well production revealed the anisotropic formation similar to the well production rate which revealed an isotropic layer is necessary either to increase the drawdown or increase the length of the horizontal section. In this paper we consider the influence of the anisotropy parameter, thickness and permeability of the anisotropic layer on the performance of a horizontal well. It is shown that at constant horizontal permeability and smaller the value of the anisotropy parameter, the greater the effect of anisotropy on performance so the greater the decrease in horizontal wells.</p>

It is shown that one of the key reasons for well conversion to idle well stock is leaky production strings in production wells. Production losses resulting from leaky production strings were assessed and a string insulation method was proposed which uses mechanical-hydraulic MaxWell expandable tubulars. The paper presents results of practical application of expandable systems in wells operated by TPP Povkhneftegaz and benefits of expandables for water zone isolation.</p>

It is shown that the system may be created on the basis of local technologies and production facilities.</p>

The essence of the proposed method is to estimate the impact of competitive fluids on formation permeability characterized by actual productivity factors, by comparing the values of the calculated cumulative oil production of experimental and base fluids at the weighted average depression in the same periods of operation of wells.</p>

The essence of the proposed method is to estimate the impact of competitive fluids on formation permeability characterized by actual productivity factors, by comparing the values of the calculated cumulative oil production of experimental and base fluids at the weighted average depression in the same periods of operation of wells.</p>
