Now at drilling of oil and gas wells drill bits of two principal types are used: Tricone bits and Diamond bits. The type of arms of bits gets out according to mechanical properties of rocks: hardness and abrasiveness. The important factors at a bits choice are depth and length of an interval of drilling. After a chisel of suitable type Tricone bits it is necessary to prove expediency of application of an alternative kind of a bits \u2014 diamond, impreg or PDC. The conclusion about expediency of application these bits should be based on results of the comparative technical and economic analysis.<\/p>\n
