The paper provides a brief overview of issues relating to the exploration and production of gas in the Gulf of Ob and the Taz Bay. Special emphasis is given to the issue of drainage area. There is an algorithm to determine the required meterage drilled per unit area. A case study of the Severno-Kamennomysskoye field is provided where the radius of a multiple well system is determined.<\/p>\n
