The paper focuses on drilling through interbedded formations in directional holes in Komi Republic. It is noted that efficiency of various rock cutting tools is low in the complex geological conditions. Following investigations, a number of factors have been identified, which affect PDC drilling performance in interbedded formations in directional and horizontal wells.<\/p>\n
