The paper provides information on how to improve the quality of well casing in permafrost formations. It is shown that the use of cement slurries which form cement plugs with high thermal resistance and the use of insulated casing strings allow to minimize the thermal effect on permafrost. The authors recommend factory made and tested multicomponent mixtures to make highly aerated abrasive buffer solutions and cement slurries through a hydration process.<\/p>\n
