The article aims at description of work experience to date for horizontal wells geosteering by specialists of LUKOIL-Engineering Limited VolgogradNIPImorneft Branch Office in Volgograd. It shows the main stages, represents the flow chart at each stage of geosteeting and determines the main inherent risks of each stage. The article describes the measures used to mitigate the risks and provides for the examples based on real wells.<\/p>\n
