Construction of extended-reach wells is accompanied by significant capital expenditure and risks at all stages of construction. Lots of drilling problems and accidents arise during drilling and completing of such wells. When a filter is running into a well, the most common problems are slacking off and its inability to reach the projected depth. These problems may be related to the uncontrollable geomechanical processes in the hole, which are caused by the deformation of rocks. Liner design includes a filter that is installed directly in the productive interval zone. To reduce the risk of such accidents, the liner can be connected to rigid power sub or to a swivel. The liner swivel rotates together with the stationary part including the filter. The operational characteristics and the total life of the well are decreased when the liner\u2019s structural integrity is destroyed.<\/p>\n
