The operation of a positive displacement motor (PDM) during the rotation of the drill pipe (DP) is considered. It is shown that the braking mode of the PDM is especially dangerous during the rotation of the DP. A formula has been obtained for determining the rotational speed of the PDM and the bit, taking into account the rotation of the DP.<\/p>\n
