The choice of drilling fluid in the permafrost zone is the most important measure that determines the successful well drilling, based on the analysis of geological features and taking into account the experience gained. A promising direction is the use of biopolymer drilling fluid based on microbial exopolysaccharides, which differ in comparison with polymers obtained chemically, better selectivity and specific activity in a wider pH range. The article presents the results of studies of biopolymer clay solutions for drilling wells in permafrost.<\/p>\n
