The article is devoted to the assessment and analysis of deviations in the program values of the operational and technological parameters of drilling, the search for causes and the choice of solutions in the direction of improving the formulation of drilling fluid in conditions when the control of the detected deviation is physically limited by a small number of controllable parameters. The approach of increasing the lubricity of drilling mud is considered as a key indicator contributing to reducing the torque relative to the critical one, and, as a result, preventing additional time and financial costs. The article presents the drilling experience at the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye field in the period from 2022 to 2024, including the results of using various additives from a leading technology company. The changes in the operational and technological parameters of drilling and the achieved effect to ensure the mechanical drilling speed are described, which made it possible to improve the quality of wiring and the safety of drilling equipment operation.<\/p>
