axial tensile load.<\/p><p>A method for determining the mechanical strength of a borehole filter subjected to axial tensile loads is presented using the example of the most commonly used design of a perforated borehole filter with round holes arranged in a checkerboard pattern. While increasing the efficiency of oil and gas wells, optimizing the parameters of borehole filters is one of the priority areas of research.
