The conditions for the effective use of a roller reamer to improve drilling performance are analyzed in detail. The design features of this tool are the minimum contact area with the rock, which significantly distinguishes it from the standard blade calibrator. This property makes it possible to significantly reduce the torque in the lower part of the drill string when performing work on deepening the borehole and forming a smooth cylindrical surface. This technical solution helps to stabilize the drilling process and reduce the load on the wellhead.<\/p>
