Baldenko \u2013 Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor<br \/>The Gubkin University of Oil and Gas<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">With the increased number of oil and gas wells drilled using screw downhole motors of different purpose, special importance is attached to development of new screw downhole motors and improvement of existing models. \u00a0The current approach to improvement of screw downhole motors involves such tasks as increasing of motor service life, increasing of performance of screw downhole motors to be used with PDC bits, creation of special motor types for special drilling conditions; directional and horizontal well path control tasks.
