T02-type turbodrills-deflectors and Sh01-type spindles-deflectors developed in the seventies of the past century have some design deficiencies and thus have short lifetime and are unable to build the desired well path. CJSC \u201cGidrobur-servis\u201d developed ShOT-type spindle-deflector with sealed joint that allowed to simplify the tool design and increase its service life to meet drilling technology requirements. Later, an adjustable deflecting device\u00a0 was developed to replace\u00a0 bent subs.
Combined with one or two unified turbine sections, the O 240 mm (ShOTR-240) and O 195 mm (ShOTR -195) adjustable drift angle spindles-deflectors form turbodrills of TShOTR type. More than 30 sets of this equipment have been used in the Perm branch of LLC \u201cEurasia Drilling Company\u201d in 2007-2009. The penetration rate increased by 8 percent during a year period as the company started to use the tools. The average operating time exceeds 150 hours, sometimes time to repair is longer than 300 hours.<\/p>\n
