The priorities of the national policy for social and economic development include increment of reserves and production increase. Various methods and techniques are used to achieve these scientific and political goals which involve exploration and development of offshore mineral resources. Speaking about exploration activities other than exploration drilling, the authors focus on geological and geophysical survey, where seismic methods play a dominant role.<\/p>\n
