Waves that are generated by drilling tools in the process of rock destruction and transmitted through the combined “wireless” channel provide a lot of additional information about downhole processes. Downhole data are especially useful in deep oil and gas exploration drilling to cope with drilling control problems associated with real time drilling control and optimization, maintaining of drilling parameters, proper quality completion and testing.
The proposed geophysical modeling technology has the advantage of being extremely efficient to predict reservoir permeability and porosity properties, oil and gas bearing capacity in the process of exploration drilling before tapping producing horizons, and to optimize further completion and testing.
Key words: permeability and porosity; reservoir; geophysical reservoir model; multiwave seismology; geological characteristics; hydrodynamic properties.
