Currently, hydrofrac is widely used as a well stimulation technique in Western Siberia, both to drill new wells and to increase idle and marginal well production by sidetracking.
The paper considers the existing methods and procedures for hydrofracturing in sidetracks of reworked wells. Some technological solutions are presented, which involve the use of the UGRH-89/122 packoff device for massive hydrofrac operations in sidetracks with O102 mm liners.
Key words: well reworking, sidetrack, hydrofrac, packoff devices.
