The article by CJSC Moscow SKB “Oreol” presents the modern instrumentation, hardware and software based on the advanced designing and programming methods and latest advances in circuits engineering and element base. It is noted that the autonomous weight and pressure recording system based on the “black box” principle allows to restore weight-on-hook and pressure data independently of the computer archive for the purpose of analyzing drilling rig’s operation conditions in the event that an incident occurs.
