Key words: casing, drill shoe, time schedule of well drilling.
ПThe paper focuses on field tests of a new drilling-with-casing technology by Weatherford in the Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field. The results, which were negative as compared to the conventional drilling practices, are due to the fact that rock cutting tools were not adequate to the geological conditions. It is recommended that the technology should be further improved as it has a great potential to contribute to better economic efficiency, safety and lower labor content.
