Key words: screw downhole motor, turbodrill, stator, rotor, turbine, thread, technology, equipment, production, drilling.
The paper provides the results of renovation of the company. Mazak and Doosan (Japan) data processing centres have been introduced, advanced casting techniques are used to manufacture turbines for turbodrill. Tungsten carbide technology is used to strengthen rotors of downhole screw motors, new elastomers are made for stators of high performance downhole motors, jointly with the world’s leading rubber mix producers, high strength materials are used. To improve reliability of thread connections, and reduce the risk of failure of downhole motors in the well, there are ongoing efforts to optimize thread connection design and introduce surface plastic hardening technologies.
