Key words: stress-stain stage, drilling, filtration, porosity
The paper describes results of mathematical modeling, describing the stress-strain state in the vicinity of a vertical well and taking into account the single-phase fluid filtration. It is shown that cracking is most likely in the zone of plastic deformations. Results of physical modeling to study of man-made fractures in the near-wellbore area are also presented.
