Safety issues come to the fore whilst drilling extended reach and multilateral offshore oil and gas wells. The major cause of many extended reach drilling failures is related to difficulties in safe removal of drill cuttings.
The engineering solution presented in the paper allows to provide a better quality of cuttings removal from offshore extended reach wells in complex geological conditions as compared to conventional cuttings transport methods.
