The main task in the establishment and operation of underground gas storage is the reduction of the cushion volume of natural gas, which is used to provide reservoir pressure maintenance. The article considers the aggregation state of carbon dioxide where it may be located in reservoir conditions. Listed and classified Russian UGS aggregate States of carbon dioxide. Analyzed the zone of mixing of carbon dioxide in the gaseous, supercritical state of aggregation to natural gas. The simulated injection of carbon dioxide into the supercritical aggregate state in the reservoir Kuschevsky underground gas storage facilities. The effect of heterogeneity of the reservoir in the zone of mixing «supercritical CO2-natural gas». Recommendations on the use of the aggregate state of the carbon dioxide for the development of disposal technologies and partial replacement of the cushion volume of gas.
