HIGH ROLLER DRILLING AND EXPLOSIVE RUPTURE OF ROCKS

The paper provides findings of the investigation into the relationship between energy characteristics of roller drilling processes and explosive fracture of rocks. It is shown that consideration of parameters of production well drilling allows to model changes in strength properties of rocks in mining blocks and adjust borehole charge parameters. The presented findings of the investigation into the relationship between roller drilling processes and explosive fracture of rocks confirm that clarification of rock properties in the course of drilling and blasting operations is of high practical relevance.
