The question of the quality of thread lubricants as a criterion for planning and saving the budget of a company representative of the oil and gas industry was investigated. Threaded lubricants with increased corrosion and protective properties are presented. Standards and test methods are provided, which guarantee high protective ability of threaded lubricants. Types of RUSMA threaded lubricants with improved anticorrosive properties are suggested. Thread lubricants adapted to various environmental conditions through the use of optimal additive packages are proposed.
