This article focuses on the condition of wellbore instablility while drilling well at Vietsovpetro’s offshore fields. The statistic and analysis of the wellbore stability time from moment opening the formation by drilling was revealed. Wellbore’s swelling speed in the Lower Miocene Field «White Tiger» was calculated. A comparison of the result analysis material by field report with calculation result is presented. In addition, the evaluation material of wellbore stability time by using the different drilling technology’s are shown.
