The review of drilling wells in the oil and gas fields of the Republic of Iraq with the use of Top Drive Assembly (TDA) is given. The advantages and disadvantages of the TDA are shown. A comparative analysis of drilling parameters is performed. The economic efficiency of the TDA is shown.
