Key words: telemetry system on negative pulses, compression data transmission, MWD / LWD, ROP and Run Speed increase, data transmission density.
The article describes new technical and technological solutions which decrease limitations on the log data transmission during horizontal wells drilling. This increase the rate of penetration (ROP) without losing the quality of the data from the downhole sensors. The authors describe the principle of operation of telemetry on negative pulses and the technology of compression data transmission. The article also presents the results of 6 horizontal wells construction.
