The quality of surface casing cementing in wells with subsea wellheads is an important task to ensure safe and efficient production for the entire period of operation, especially in terms of wellhead stability. Untimely recognition of complications during surface casing cementing, especially losses of cement slurry, can entail additional time and material costs and damage the integrity of the well structure. However, the existing methods cannot always provide reliable control of surface casing cementing process, especially in the presence of a spud base of a Mud Recovery without Riser system (MRR). The article proposes and justifies a method for controlling of surface casing cementing process in wells with subsea wellheads, which will increase the reliability of control of the work and ensure accurate determination of possible intervals of losses of cement slurry.
