Key words: positive displacement motors, PDC bits, output performance of positive displacement motors.
ПThe paper focuses on recent achievements of Radius-Service in the designing of modern positive displacement motors. Special focus is on high torque power sections of motors made of profiled stator shells with elastomer lining of uniform thickness and lined stators with teeth of increased hardness. For the first time in Russia, this technology was used to manufacture 172mm power sections, 5,000mm and 4,000mm in length, for 106mm motors. The paper also describes the results of bench tests and operational tests.
