The paper describes problems which may arise whilst cementing deep wells drilled in the complex geological conditions of the Astrakhan gas and condensate field. It is recommended that lightweight cement slurries be used. Slurry compositions and materials have been developed to mix the slurries. The innovative technology will allow to improve the quality of casing cementing and avoid dangerous complications in the Astrakhan gas and condensate field.
