Key words: geological and engineering survey, offshore drilling, shallow gas, gas logging, SSDR, Sea of Okhotsk, shelf.
The article provides information on the specifics of the work of a batch of geological and technological survey on the semi-submersible floating drilling rig (SSDR) «Polyarnaya Zvezda» and SSDR «Severnoye Siyaniye» during the construction of offshore production wells of fields 1 and 2 on the shelf of the Sea of Okhotsk. The composition of the geological and technological survey station is described, a list of sensors is given. The equipment used for gas logging is considered. The main tasks to be solved by geological and technological survey in the process of well construction are indicated. A list of parameters fixed in time and depth is given. The issue of detecting and preventing gas emissions from shallow depths is described in detail. A comparison of the geological structure of two fields in the Sea of Okhotsk is carried out.
