The paper provides an analysis and detailed calculation of parameters of compressed air drilling in the geological environment of Chayadinskoye oil, gas and condensate field and a rationale for the selection of equipment for air hammer drilling «in advance». The calculation is based on recognized methods developed and tested by B.B. Kudryashov. The authors have analyzed the field’s geological structure and operating conditions for the selected equipment and developed a mathematical model of aerodynamic characteristics of conductor drilling using a downhole hammer in Chayadinskoye oil, gas and condensate field.
