One of the world’s priority task is to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, because increasing the concentration of carbon dioxide has a negative impact on the ecology of the environment. This article is devoted to the description of the impact of major geological characteristics of the reservoir to the filtration of carbon dioxide. The article shows the influence of carbonic acid in the carbonate reservoir. Recommendations for the selection of geological parameters of the reservoir to justify the selection of the object for injection of carbon dioxide.
