Key words: natural convective cooling unit, condenser, evaporator, cooling, two-phase flow, heat transfer.
A study was conducted on the operation of a horizontal, naturally-operating system for the temperature stabilization of soils with an evaporating part length of 350 m, made of steel pipe with a diameter of 33.7 mm. The technical parameters of the system, a description of the experimental setup, the flow modes of the refrigerant and the achieved degree of cooling of the evaporator are given. A comparative analysis of the flow rate and the level of ammonia in the condenser with the load on the evaporator in 5, 10, 15 and 20 W/m. When the evaporator is loaded at 20 W/m, the operation of the GET-350 system becomes unstable, which causes its operation to stop.
