Key words: engineering-geological survey, drillability, drilling speed, range of variation, mean linear deviation, dispersion, root-mean-square deviation, coefficient of variation.
The study deals with the problem of statistical modeling of the rock drillability indicators while drilling engineering and geological wells. A comparative analysis of the rate of drilling is performed depending on the category of rock drillability. For each of the studied categories of rocks, the main statistical indicators are calculated, which will help to optimize the drilling process.
