Key words: landfill, oil sludge, utilization, briquettes, waste.
Oil-containing waste and oil products are one of the main environmental pollutants. A significant part of oil-containing wastes is spent hydrocarbon-based drilling fluids, the problems of the formation, utilization and processing of which arise during the drilling of oil and gas wells. To solve this problem, we propose the construction of a landfill at which oil sludge is neutralized by heating, mixed with sawdust and, using a briquette installation, formed into briquettes, turning from waste to product. Thus, it is possible not only to exclude losses on payments for waste of hazard class III, but also to profit from the sale of fuel briquettes.
