Gas field development through a system of horizontal wells required some research involving production rate assessment based on well design and tubing depth. The paper is dedicated to the importance of choice of the tubing depth in a horizontal borehole of s gas well. Analysis of different tubing depth options is presented.
There is a rationale for selection of two options providing the maximum production rate of a horizontal hole tapping an anisotropic heterogeneous bed.
