The current trend in horizontal drilling is to drill groups of horizontal wells in an oil and gas field instead of a single horizontal well. One of the priorities in development of the Russian offshore fields is to promote horizontal drilling methods. The paper presents the results of calculations of hydrodynamic properties for different types of reservoirs that occur in some of the Arctic fields.
Key words: permeability, porosity, low permeability reservoir, reservoir performance, horizontal well.
