Key words: geological section, potassium chloride drilling mud, resin polymer agent, polymer-clay drilling mud.
The article analyses the experience of using KCl drilling muds in well drilling in Nadym-Pur-Tazovsky region. Lithological composition of a section determines requirements for consolidation of wellbore walls and completion drilling without increasing drilling mud density and excess volume of drilling fluid. Experience with different drilling fluids has proved the efficiency of polymer-clay, resin polymer and emulsion drilling muds based on mineral oils.
