Authorizing the supervising staff to control the execution of organizational and technical work and compliance with safety standards would considerably improve the technical and economic performance and quality of well drilling and workover. This solution would allow, firstly, to provide timely information to the customer’s employees thus enabling them to respond quickly to contractors’ faults, and, secondly, to provide the contractors with independent information needed to remove the causes of any trouble, incident and situation which may entail penalties imposed by supervision authorities.
