Key words: well path specifications; software and hardware system, automatic systems,  simulating model.

The existing scientific and methodological solutions for simulation of directional drilling do not allow to make use of all benefits provided by the current and future BHA designs. Today, orientable downhole devices used together with telemetry systems allow to control well path of all kinds, even in a thin producing formation. However, the future of  directional, horizontal and multilateral drilling depends on development and wide use of the so-called intelligent systems of well path control. The paper provides information regarding the justification of  a BHA path predicting method with allowance for uncontrollable factors, based on the process simulation model.
