Key words: mud weighting agent, porosity and permeability of productive formations, cementing quality.
The paper presents results of the use of the SB sideritic weighting agent in production wells of Bovanenkovskoye gas and condensate field. It is shown that there are alternative materials which can be used on a large scale. A comparative analysis of wells of this field is also provided.
