Method for calculating a friction drag force during an injection descent of a surface casing into the seabed, which was tested during experimental studies, has been developed. From the comparison of calculation results with experimental data, it follows that the calculated value to some extent reflects the actual value of the drag force on the surface casing friction. All parameter values required for calculation in accordance with this method can be obtained prior to commencement of injection operations.
