Ensuring the impermeability of gas and gas condensate wells in various climatic, geological and technical conditions is the most important task in the development of fields. In the construction of wells for the arrangement of underground storage of natural gas, this problem is of particular importance. Due to the fact that the gas from the Chayandinskoye oil, gas and condensate field, which contains a significant amount of helium in its component composition, will be pumped into underground gas storage, additional requirements will be imposed on the impermeability of the wells. The article presents technical and technological solutions to improve impermeability and durability of wells, including through the use of special designs of wells, the method of their completion with the possibility of formulating a hydraulic seal over the productive formation.
Formulated additional requirements for design of wells for the storage of natural gas enriched with helium. It has been shown that welded tubing pipes with an inter-column arrangement of the packer device should be used as a tubing string.
According to the results of the research the parameters of the hydraulic seal and packer liquids which can ensure reliability and environmental safety during well operation were determined. The use of special fluids based on polyatomic alcohols, for example, glycerin and its aqueous solutions, as packer fluid in the corresponding conditions is proposed
