REUSABLE DEVICE FOR PRESSURE TESTING OF PIPES IN A WELL

A new device (valve) has been developed for pressure testing of drill and compressor pipes when descending into a well, drilling a side hole, processing the bottom-hole zone of the formation, repair work, and other technological operations. The valve allows multiple pressure testing of pipes without lifting them. The article shows the scheme of the device and the technology of its operation in the well, as well as the results of factory and field tests of the pilot sample of the valve, which showed its efficiency and feasibility of practical application in technological processes during drilling and operation of wells.
